1031 Exchange

RPM Investments® (RPM) has the knowledge and expertise to assist you with all your 1031 exchange needs. The RPM team has over 30 years of experience in the business and has traversed the recent economic times. RPM is a company that puts the security of your funds first. With us, your funds are held in a qualified escrow interest-bearing account so your funds can be disbursed immediately. We also do not retain any of the interest earned on your funds, all interest accrued is credited to our clients. You can be confident your money is working for you even while it is waiting for your next investment.

Rather than paying the capital gains taxes on the sale of your investment property, Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Service’s Tax Code allows you to defer payment of capital gains taxes due on the sale of real property if the exchanger, through a qualified accommodator, purchases a replacement property within 180 days of the original sale date.

All funds are held by Commerce Escrow, a division of Opus Bank, a California-based commercial bank, in a qualified escrow account. This type of account benefits our clients because funds are never commingled with anyone else’s funds. Each exchange account is segregated into its own escrow account. Opus Bank is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Your deposits are insured for the standard FDIC deposit insurance coverage limit of $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category. To learn more visit www.FDIC.gov.
