Online and Mobile Privacy Policy

The Online and Mobile Privacy Policy (Policy) explains our practices with regard to the “Personal Identifiable Information” collected from visitors to our website and mobile applications (collectively known as ‘Site’). Personal Identifiable Information is any information that can be used to identify, locate, or contact you.


Information that we may collect about you through online interaction includes information that you input, such as your first name, last name, address, zip code, and email address. Also, your login information (User ID and Password) used to authenticate you when you log in to the Opus Bank's Online Banking or Mobile Banking on our homepage or directly through a login page is collected. This information is protected by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, a security protocol that helps to ensure the data sent over the Internet between your computer and Opus Bank (the “Bank”) remains confidential. Further, we may also collect additional information such as the type of device and browser you are using, the IP address of your device, information about your device’s operating system, and additional information associated with your device. We may also gather information collected through cookies, tags, and other technologies.


In many cases, we collect Personal Identifiable Information directly from you. We will ask you for your information when you interact with us, such as signing up to receive subscriptions to various banking topics that interest you.

If you interact with us online, we use cookies and other technology tools to collect information about your computer and your use of our Site. We treat this information as Personal Identifiable Information when it is associated with your Contact Information. If you do not bank online with us, we do not collect, capture, or retain Personal Identifiable Information when you are just browsing our online products and services. As a visitor to our Site, the web server automatically recognizes only:

• Network or device related information such as your internet provider. We do not track Personal Identifiable Information such as your e-mail address.

• Aggregate information on which pages you visit, but no specific information on pages visited by an individual. The aggregate information we collect (for instance, how many page views on a particular web page) is used for internal review to improve the content of our Site and is then discarded.


Opus Bank does not make any Personal Identifiable Information collected available to, nor does it share information with third parties.


In our efforts to deliver relevant digital advertising to you, we utilize cookies and related technology to evaluate our Sites and to track digital advertising performance. We may engage third party ad service providers to conduct these activities on our behalf. This Site is not directed to or intended for individuals under 13 years of age. We feel strongly about protecting the privacy of children. As such, we do not knowingly collect or solicit personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 through our site without parental consent. Opus Bank provides experiences on social media platforms that enable online sharing and collaboration among users who have registered to use them. Any content you post, such as pictures, information, opinions, or any Personal Information that you make available, is subject to the website’s privacy and security practices, which may differ from ours. Please refer to the social media site’s privacy and security policies to better understand your rights and obligations with regard to such content.

If we make updates to this Policy, we will update the Policy with the changes and revise the “date of most recent update” posted at the top of this Policy. Any updates to the Policy become effective when we post the updates on the Site. Your use of the Site following the update to the Policy means that you accept the updated Policy.
